“White Bucket Offerings”

Missions takes place in many forms through Cross Roads. Below are just some of the wonderful opportunities through which we can make a difference in our community and beyond. Each Sunday worship service includes the “white bucket offering” alongside our regular giving opportunity. The white buckets are passed by the children and are used exclusively for mission ministries.

Compassion Children Sponsorship

The Link - Linking people, Building community

Sharing space with the Willmar Area Food Shelf and Community Closet Thrift Store, The Link provides an exchange for community goods, free laundry, and Internet access.



United Methodist Committee On Relief

Bless-A-Home

Each November, our church connects with Kandiyohi Social Services to “adopt” several families to help make their Christmas experience a little less stressful. Donations of Christmas dinner supplies and requested gifts for each member of the adopted family.


 

Red Bird Mission Children's Outreach

Cory & Ellie St. Peter with Center for Indian Ministries at Oak Hills College

Family Promise

Family Promise is expanding into Kandiyohi County and our church has chosen to be a part of this wonderful outreach to those in need in our area.
