Polar Plunge Calling all brave and hardy souls! It’s time for the Polar Plunge! Polar Plunge is scheduled for Saturday, January 28 at Saulsbury Beach in Spicer. All ages are welcome! If you want to participate in the plunge, contact the church office at 320-796-2339. Each "plunger" needs to raise a minimum of $75 in donations to participate. Proceeds go to Special Olympics.
Valentines Dinner! Each year, the Cross Roads youth host a fun-filled night of great food and fun entertainment as a way to encourage the church family to have fun together and to raise money for future youth events at the same time. This year’s dinner falls on Wednesday, February 15.
Entertainment is guaranteed to bring some chuckles.
Another excellent part of the evening will be an opportunity to purchase some products and prizes at the SILENT AUCTION.

Thoughts From the Pastor--January 2012 Firm is the Foundation
My sister Jill and her family are building a new house. It is on the same land that has been in her husband’s family for many generations. Excitedly she shows the pictures of the blueprints of the house to be. Who’s room will be whose. The porch that wraps around the front. An island in the kitchen (nothing about a palm tree on her island though.) Their new home will be very nice. What the blueprints didn’t show was the foundation.
